Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines, Inc. (CCIP) is the umbrella organization of finished product distributors, raw materials, packaging and ingredients suppliers, and manufacturers of cosmetics and related products in the Philippines.

Our Objectives


  • To foster closer relations, understanding, and cooperation  among cosmetic and other allied or related companies, by unifying them into one strong and solid union
  • To serve as the forum for the development of a consensus on matters affecting the cosmetic industry
  • To serve as the single voice of the entire cosmetic industry in all its dealings with the government and concerned private sectors;
  • To represent the cosmetic industry in all form at the local, national, regional,  and international levels;  and
  • To establish and maintain linkages with global organizations representing the cosmetic industry.

  • The Filipino Hairdressers Cooperative (FilHair) was founded by Mr. Ricky Reyes. Early on, he already had an link of what he wanted to do in his life. “He had the natural flair, he had the easy charm and likeability of the born beautician,” wrote Abe Florendo in Hair Majesty about Reyes’ first job as a floor sweeper in a parlor. Eventually he decided to open his own shop in San Juan, which proved to be hugely successful. Later on, he would own a chain of popular salons all over the Philippines. He would also receive citations from hair competitions here and abroad. His success also gave him great popularity, earning him the name“Mother.” Ricky Reyes is one of the few easily recognizable beauty stylists in the country. He has not only befriended celebrities, he himself became one. Through the years, he has formed strong relationships with people in showbiz, media, and even politics.

    Our Mission

  • Is to provide lifelong skills and provide a better life for the under privileged with just a comb and a pair of scissors.
  • The project provided free standardized teaching modules in basic hair cutting and eventually livelihood to more than 200,000 Filipinos and counting throughout the beginning in year 1984.

It is composed of scientists and professionals involved in the cosmetic industry and the academe. Committed to advance scientific and technical knowledge, it aims to uplift the level of research and product development, production capabilities, and quality assurance systems to globally accepted standards.

    Our Mission

  • To encourage the advancement of scientific and technical understanding within the cosmetics and toiletries industry.
  • To improve the qualifications and usefulness of its members by setting high standards of practice, professional ethics, education & attainments.
  • To increase and disseminate scientific knowledge and foster the application of all scientific disciplines within the industry.
  • To promote scientific interest and the recognition of the cosmetic scientist through its meetings, awards and scholarships, professional contacts reports and discussions.
  • To unify the members into one strong and solid group by fostering closer relations, understanding and cooperation among its members for the purpose of making effective representations with the technical regulatory agencies of the government and with other private entities.
  • To adopt and implement policies and programs which will upgrade the quality of the locally manufactured cosmetics and toiletries.
  • To provide members the benefits that may be derived from the use of the common services and facilities through the SOCIETY as well as the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC), Asian Societies of Cosmetic Scientists (ASCS), and other affiliations, whenever feasible.


  • The Thai Cosmetics Manufacturers Association hoped that the government agencies and related private and public sectors and the people would be the best supporters to the association throughout the years.

  • The Spa & Wellness Association of Singapore was founded in 2004 in response to the need of an association to reach out to all sectors of the Beauty & Wellness Industry. Over the last decade, SWAS has grown with the Industry.

  • Enhance Growth of the Industry and trade groups by providing strong support for businesses to improve image, develop qualify service and increase clients.
  • Foster continuous education and skills development amongst members to boost competencies and standards to advance career and/or business.
  • Present a platform for industry players to augment knowledge and business opportunities.
  • Facilitate communication and information amongst Stakeholders, Government Agencies, Trade Bodies and other organisations to improve and promote business excellence.
